Countrywide Estates are the UK’s largest property services group, specialising in both residential and commercial property markets. Headquartered in Milton Keynes, and with over 850 branches across the UK, their turnover is c.£600 million. Oresa supported them through the management of an Interim Director appointment process.
The Challenge
Countrywide Estates were going through a period of change which was accelerated by the growth of digital competitor players in the market such as PurpleBricks and HouseSimple. ORESA were commissioned to manage the Interim Director recruitment process to aid the evolution of the business, where developing a multichannel offering was a key pillar of their customer strategy. These individuals would be key to bringing strategic thinking and then working with the operations in order to develop new digital products and digital mindset in the business, plus streamlining retail structures and processes for efficiency.
The Solution
Candidates were secured for both Interim roles and joined the business, making significant impact over a short period. Strategies and operations were developed, and the interim consultants then handed over the reins to the in-house teams.
