The role

The purpose of the role is to develop and deliver a marketing led business development strategy that enables the growth of the business.

Through multi-channel campaigns, exceptional content, and Sales and Business Development focussed engagement strategies, the Head of Marketing will develop ORESA to build brand awareness, with the aim of contributing to business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Setting a marketing strategy/roadmap to achieve the commercial objectives
  • Planning and executing integrated multichannel marketing campaigns to enable lead generation
  • Managing the collation of data, reporting and analysis of all marketing related performance metrics: tracking ROI and identifying areas for optimisation
  • Leading digital marketing, including web development, organic search, PPC, social, email
  • Ensuring that the ORESA brand, is strong and consistent across all channels
  • Developing a rounded content strategy. Commissioning and managing internal and external contributors/producers/developers ensuring quality and performance
  • Working with our writers and web developer, curating, editing and coordinating the ORESA newsletters and blog, as well as commissioning articles and features, testimonials, case studies and interviews, to be utilised for content creation across a range of platforms
  • Managing ORESA’s presence and performance across platforms, including the website, PR, LinkedIn, Twitter, growing our online following and increasing engagement
  • Coordinating the annual events calendar, working in partnership with the CEO and our external events specialist

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong marketing background and experience in running fully integrated, end-to-end marketing campaigns
  • A qualification, ideally at degree level
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Articulate, with the ability to tailor content for a C-suite audience
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with strong planning and organisational skills
  • An ability to work independently to tight deadlines; highly proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of tracking, analysing and reporting on metrics/KPIs, with a data-led approach to marketing; a desire to drive tangible growth is key
  • Hands on, collaborative and strategic, with the ability to pinpoint areas for optimisation and identify new opportunities for lead generation
  • Ability to work creatively and autonomously, developing creative strategies, devising innovative solutions and embedding best practice
  • Committed to continual improvement, with a ‘fail fast, learn fast’ mentality
  • Confidence to manage upwards, holding freelancers and senior leaders to account
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with digital marketing tools and channels; a good understanding of WordPress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics etc. would be advantageous
  • Curiosity and passion for the technology, fashion and consumer industries is an advantage
  • A strong drive for self-improvement and the confidence to articulate issues and opportunities (both for the wider business and for marketing)
